You heard it right! - Sammy Hundley is shaving his head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
See Sammy's Personal YouTube Video Message & Invitation here!Sammy's niece, Michelle, was diagnosed as a child with Leukemia and made a miraculous recovery. Today she is a lawyer and is married with three children. Sammy's mother has survived cancer four times. It has been over six years since her last diagnosis. She is cancer-free at 73 and going strong. Sadly, his family lost his mom's oldest sister and that sister's youngest son to different types of cancer in years past. Sammy's very close friend, Mitchell, survived stage 4 cancer last year, so there is hope and it's getting better all the time as a cure seems to be just over the horizon!
So, this is personal for Sammy.

According to the European Country Music Association National Top 40 Charts, BACK TO YOU, from the Parrish-Hundley album Southbound Train, landed at #17 in Belgium and #36 in Spain for the January 28, 2011 chart.  This marks the 29th occasion that the band has ended up on the European Country Music Charts in 11 countries!
