Chantelle Ernandez Reviews "Never Say Die" - April 23, 2008

Very Inspirational
I love the lyrics.....this mind sound cliche, but there are many people who need to hear this. The guitars are kinda old-school country and the drums as well.....but that's a good thing. The chorous is my favourite part of the song....nice catchy melody and positive lyrics to go with it. I like the mix...no instrument or vaocal over-powered the other.I was expecting to hear a fiddle or 2.....that would have been a nice addition. This song i think can go places.

Denni-Lee Hayes Reviews "Never Say Die" - April 15, 2008

Soothing Melody
The lyrics are inspirational and the melody is soothing. The lead vocals are strong and clear. The harmonies are well placed and add to the mood of the song. The production is well done throughout the song except the intro which seems disconnected. As a whole it is a very nice song.

Valhalla Reviews "Ain't We Got It Good" - March 20, 2008

Very Mature
The vocalist has great control over his vocals, which shows maturity and control, Lyrics were good and in a time of war, very appropriate. Mood of song would be great if a video accompanied this track.Guitar solo in middle was just basic enough to keep the melody and mood of the song.

Texas!
Texan blues at its best! I would go and see this band any day, I bet their great live! This track is pretty faultless, it's like they all knew what they wanted and did it. Vocals are great which they needed to be with the backing supplied by very talented musicians. I have just had to play it another five times just to make sure of course!

Bob Tanabe Reviews "Ain't We Got It Good" - March 14, 2008

Patriotic song
Great to hear someone praising the heroes who give all so that we can live in the greatest Country on earth. Love the message and love the lyrics especially the line - 4th of July fireworks dancing in the sky. Nice touch how he worked this line in at the end just as he started the song. Went full cycle to remind us how lucky we are and what that 4th of July should mean to us every time it comes around. Man, it put me somber but patriotic mood because I feel for those who make the ultimate unselfish sacrifice so we can enjoy our freedoms our liberties. Unlike Mrs. Obama, I always loved my country and I always felt proud that I was an American. This song should be heard by all the America haters to remind them that they are able to hate America because of the few and the brave.

would be very proud, this song was picturesque and memorable. The musical change at 1:15 was good and the chorus pickup was nice as well. Vocals strong, music good and lyrics great. This is the way country should be. Made me want to go lay in a field, get my fishin pole and turn 13 again.

Jazzy
The intro grabs you right away, and the lead singer is believable. There's a little but of a ZZ top sound here. If I were from Texas, I'd be proud of this song representing me. I like the changes of pace. A fun song for sure and I imagine a hit when played live. Nice!

RJ Dennis Reviews "Texas in the Man" - March 7, 2008

I love it, rocking country that really rocks!
This is today's country! Southern fried Texas Southern Rock.

Hook, arrangement and mood, hmmm....

This is a hit, even if only in the Lone Star State. Catchy guitar riffs, solid drummer and bass player and the lyrical elements that always work for a Texas song.

Nice play on words with the La Grange with the cowboys on the range!

Song length is perfect, guitar is tight, and as an overall song, this is as perfect a country song I have heard on Garage Band. Can my band cover this? Record it?

I have nothing to say that needs fixing, or rearranging, you just blew me away. Nothing but praise, when I get done with this review, I better see 5 stars overall for this song!

Good God guys, this one is somkeing hot and a tight production to boot. Why have I not heard this on KASE or KVET? I'm calling them in the morning!

Thanks for sharing your music with us all. Dennis Phillips - Redneck Jedi

Travis Weston Reviews "Ain't We Got It Good" - March 3, 2008

Deep lyrics
The chorus is giving me chills. I love the guitar at the end of the chorus, it adds to the emotion there, and that's exactly what you want.

You couldn't have said it better:

"Any american knows that freedom ain't really free"

Don't you worry about that outro, that's great. This is the first song in ages (including the radio) to make me tear up.

I love it.
